How do I create a Neteller account?

To create a Neteller account you have to do the following:

Log on to this website http://www.neteller.com/home/index.jsf

You will now see this on your screen.

Click on the "Join now" button to create an account.

You will now see this on your screen.

Here you have to type in your:
Email Address: (Neteller uses this to contact you and to send your account details when your account has been created)
Your country of residence
Your password (Will be used to log on to your account)
Chose a security question and the answer for it (Will be used if you forget your password)
Chose a currency (We recommend you chose the currency you will use the most as Neteller will charge you for currency conversions)

When you have filled out the entire details click on "Continue".

You will now see this on your screen.

Here you will have to type in your:
First and last name
Your address
Your city and postal code
Your country has already been filled out as you chose it in the previous screen
Your phone number (Neteller will contact you on this number to activate your account
An alternative phone number
Your gender
Your Date of Birth (This will be used to confirm you are over 18 years)
Passport Number (This is used to confirm your identity to Neteller. Neteller can ask you to scan your passport, driver’s license or other similar documents in connection with their security procedures.

When you have filled out the entire details click on "Continue".

You will now see this on your screen

Here you can see you new account ID and your new secure ID (You will use these details to log on to your Neteller account together with the password you chose in the first screen.)

Click on "Continue" to start using you Neteller account

Important information about adding a bank account

To make a withdrawal from your Neteller account to your bank account you need to register your bank account with Neteller. It will happen like this. You inform your bank account number to Neteller and Neteller will then transfer a small amount to your bank account, which you will have to inform Neteller to confirm they have registered the right bank account number with the right Neteller account.

When you register your bank account with your Neteller account it is important that you state to Neteller that you use the same currency in your bank account as you do in your Neteller account.

By doing this your own bank will take care of the currency conversion instead of Neteller, which is much cheaper for you as a customer.
