Bad Beat Jackpot at PokerNordica
Bad Beat Jackpot Currently: $292,893.55
Bad Beats happen to each and every person, but at PokerNordica we have found a way to potentially win big after losing with a monster hand!
In any Texas Hold'em game, you will be looking to maximise your value when you pick up four of a kind. The chance to go all-in is automatic, but what happens if your opponent is holding higher four of a kind, or even a Straight Flush?
These are the worst Bad Beats, and usually result in thousands of chips being passed over the table. Our new Bad Beat Jackpot will ensure thousands of dollars in real money will be won, all for losing a hand.
On our specially made ring game jackpot tables, we will collect 50 cents from every pot which contributes to the Bad Beat Jackpot. As soon as a player has a big hand cracked, the jackpot will be won, with every active player at the table receiving a portion of the prize money! The player with the losing hand will pick up the biggest percentage, so if you have four of a kind in sevens or better using both hole cards, you should definitely hope to get beaten!
Bad Beat Payout Structure:
- 35% to the looser
- 17,5% to the player with the winning hand
- 17,5% to the other players who had cards dealt in the round
- 20% to start the jackpot again
- 10% goes to the poker rooms on the network
New Rules for a qualifying hand!
- Previously a hand would only qualify if both players used cards where in case of quads (4 of a kind) both hole cards needed to be a pocket pair. Fx. to make four of a kind with 9's ou needed to have pocket 9's and then two 9's on the board. This is now changed so you only need one 9 in the hole cards the other three 9's can be on the table but your other hole card need to be in play as the kicker so both you cards are making the best 5 card hand.
- Here is an example of a valid badbeat: The board is JJJTT, a player is holding QJ would quilify vs. a player with TT, since the Q is the kicker in play.
- Here is an example of an invalid badbeat: The board is JJJTT, a player is holding J7 would not qualify vs. a player with TT since the 7 is not in play as the kicker since the T on the table is higher.
