When the file download box appears click "save" or "open" and then choose where you want to save poker.exe and click "save".
PokerNordica.com uses downloadable software for its casino and multiplayer poker rooms. This means that all images and sounds load from your computer when you play. This increases the speed and playability of the games and saves you from downloading all the game data each time you want to play.
The download is an .exe file (executable) installer package. The file is completely safe to install and is guarenteed 100% virus and spyware free. For more information about our multiplayer poker download, see our casino download page here.
Note: Our software uses Adobe Flash for some of the vivid game graphics and animation. If you don't have Flash installed and you receive a message saying that you need to download Flash, please visit Adobe and install the latest version. Download Flash Here.

Minimum System Requirements
The minimum system requirements needed to run the PokerNordica software are:
- Microsoft Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP or Vista.
- 400MHz Pentium or faster CPU with at least 128MB of RAM.
- Minimum screen resolution of at least 800x600 pixels.
- At least 30MB of free disk space.
Downloading & Installation Instructions
To play at PokerNordica, you need to download the free poker software. If you are not familiar with how to download software, please follow the simple steps below.
1. Just click on any of the "Download" links or click here to begin the download or right-click and choose "Save Target As".
2. A "Save As" dialog box will appear. Select "Desktop" from the side toolbar (Shown at 1) or the "Save in" drop-down menu at the top. It is recommended that you do not change the file name. Now click the Save button (Shown at 2). This will save the PokerNordica software installer to your Windows Desktop.
The size of the download is about 11,5 MB, and it should take less than one minute to download on a 2Mbit connection. If the dialog box is still open once the download is complete, you can select "Run" to start the installation.
If the download dialog box has closed, you can always find a file on your windows desktop called "PokerNordica.exe". Double click the PokerNordica.exe setup icon on your desktop to start installation.
On some Windows XP computers, a security dialog box may appear when you launch the installation program. This dialog box warns you against installing executable files (.exe) from software developers you do not trust. This protects you against accidental installation of viruses. If you are sure you have clicked on the PokerNordica.exe icon, you can proceed with the installation by pressing "Run".
After the installation is complete, a PokerNordica software launch icon is placed on your desktop for easy access. Double-click on the icon to start playing PokerNordica!
You can clean up your desktop by deleting the installation file, Pokernordica.exe. Click once on the install file, then press the delete button on your keyboard, this will delete the install file and send it to the recycle bin. Be careful you do not accidentally delete the PokerNordica software icon, if you do, you will not be able to play!
Creating an Account
Once you launch the PokerNordica software, you will be presented with “create a new account page”. There we will ask you for information so we can create and manage your account.
This information is kept private and will never be shared with any third party company or organization.
At this stage, you will only be asked for the following information:
- An account username and password (used for logging onto the software)
- A password confirmation, by re-typing the password (in case you typed it incorrectly)
- Your valid email address (a valid email is required for account management)
- A nickname (this is the name that will appear on your player box when you play at the poker tables)
Click "Submit" to complete the creation of your PokerNordica account.
Your login details will be emailed to your nominated email address, and should be kept in a safe place.
Unless you selected “remember my password”, you need to type your username and your password every time you wish to login to PokerNordica.
Press "Log In" to enter the PokerNordica lobby and you are ready to start playing poker!

The Lobby Interface
1. When you first arrive at the lobby, chose the type of poker you wish to play, either "Tournaments" or "Poker Tables". Once you are inside the main lobby, you can select the type of game you want to play, Texas Hold'em or Omaha, from the green tabs. If you want to switch from tables to tournaments or vice versa, you just use the tabs in the beige bar.
The quickest way to begin playing poker is to double click on the table that suits your playing style and your bankroll. Click here to see a full list of all our games and stakes.
2. Select the game that matches your wallet balance, either play money or real money. Note: To play for real money you will need to deposit. Please read the FAQ for more information on deposits.
3. Double click or press the "Join Table" button to join the game!
